Frequency Hopping

While having a think about the interference problems that can arrise, I though that maybe we could use some sort of frequency hopping scheme.

Now I've just had a look at the spec sheets of the HopeRF module and looks like we can program in any frequency within the selected band, so therefore some sort of hopping could be feasable. Any thoughts?

Bluetooth uses this for reducing errors. But you have to keep in mind that it's Bluetooth and its specs are 2K pages ... If security issues arise, consider resending the packet 3 times and making majority polls. I've used RFM01 and RFM02 successfuly indoors over ranges of 50 meters in the 868Mhz spectrum. Datarates at 4.8Kbauds, very few packet loss.
