Nikon TTL

http://snowcat.de/flashcontroller/ has an implementation of manual control of a nikon TTL flash using a simple micro hooked up to the hotshoe (or to the wires the hotshoe connects to anyway)

Just need to get the pinout of canon's basic TTL system and we've got a large majority of flashes covered by one way of doing things. Dedicated e-ttl and i-ttl kit can come later imo. Best to do the generic method first.

I didn't found it.

does anybody know which pin you have to short to quench the flash on Canon? It's not the same as on Nikon.
I presume its the "clk" pin, but thats just the first pin I would start testing :)
(D1 has to be low to tell the cam its a non-ETTL flash)
